I have been asked to share details of a new pilot project being launched by the Substance Misuse team. I have attached the leaflet giving details of the service and also the referral form. The brief outline of the service is:
“This is a new pilot project that has funding for a number of months and hopefully if successful will get further funding and help to reduce drug and alcohol related deaths within our communities.
Although we are relating to none fatal overdose of medications, illicit or prescribed, this can also be include excessive, problematic alcohol use too.

Please remember the referrals are for people not already in services.
The team are happy to start taking referrals from Monday 14th December 2020”
